What is D2 Tool Steel?

D2 Tool Steel is a high carbon, high chromium cold work tool steel known for its exceptional hardness, wear resistance, and dimensional stability. It is widely used in tooling applications where cutting, forming, or punching is required all without heating the material.

⚠️ Limitations of D2 Tool Steel

Even great materials have some drawbacks. While D2 is outstanding in wear resistance, it has:
